Boise, Idaho has become a surfing town of sorts. In 2012, B-Town was blessed with an adjustable wave and locals have benefited since with the park being built in multiple phases (each with a new wave). The new wave featured above was basically designed similarly to a Citywave. Locals are just starting to figure it out, but as you can see, it’s taking a little time and some equipment adjustments. Sources say ass kickings and beatdowns have been plentiful. But Boise locs don’t take themselves too seriously.
The park was a gift to the city, paid for by local fundraising and donations from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation so there aren’t any fees. It’s a free wave.
