In just a few days, the window for the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal opens up. That means that Portugal is currently inundated with Championship Tour surfers, and those surfers are making sure they’re acclimated to the place. Among those surfers is Gabriel Medina.
Peyton Willard was on the beach when Medina paddled out into some very average beachbreak. Medina, however, is not an average surfer, and his three world titles confirm that. Despite the lackluster conditions, Medina was doing what he does best: ripping.
