This looks intense. Society/Unseen, a project that includes surfing by Kerby Brown, Cortney Brown, Imogen Caldwell, Bradley Norris, Luke Wyllie, Phillip Read, and includes a host of top notch production talent behind the lens professes to “redefine what’s rideable as they push the boundaries of surf adventure.”
Redefining what’s rideable? Looks like a solid check there.
You might recognize Cortney Brown from unthinkable slabs and monsters like those in this mammoth gallery by Russell Ord and this barnburner here. Seems like Mr. Brown has always had a strong urge to redefine rideable.
And while it’s hard to ignore the trailer’s cheesy Braveheart-style epitaph ala, “We adventure not to escape life, but for life not to escape us…,” we’d be hard-pressed to find a a big-wave surf documentary we’re more excited to check out. We’ll be eagerly anticipating its release.
