For those of us who do not possess the golden ability to simply pack up and head to Teahupo’o whenever a swell is en route, we rely on pictures, videos, illustrations, and editorials to attempt to comprehend what it was like. We’re not saying that getting to Tahiti is absolutely impossible, but scoring it this big and this perfect is something that doesn’t come around too often. Still, it does happen. And it just so happened to happen… it happened.
