The Inertia

Style and aesthetic are integral components of the traditional longboard game. And subtlety is key. The best in the world make it look as though not a single thing is out of place. Every step intentional. Arm placement exactly where it should be.

That attention to detail is important, and Josie Prendergast understands that better than most. In this little clip promoting McTavish Surfboards’ newest model, the Dirt Nap (which is pretty easy on the eyes), Josie styles out in some rainy knee-high surf. Between Josie’s surfing, the board, and the cinematography courtesy of award-winning filmmaker Stefan José, this has to be one of the most beautiful ads we’ve seen in a long time.
