The Pacific Northwest is essentially the Land of the Lost to most Southern California surfers. Faced with a choice between the temperate albeit extremely crowded surf of the Southland and its northern counterpart, most down south would tell northerners they can keep their cold, fickle, often unmanageable stuff. As they say in the north, “More for us.”
Recently Timmy Reyes and Jake Kelley ventured through the PNW and without naming names, they scored. Period.
