When it comes to style, Tosh Tudor has a head start. His father, the iconic and outspoken Joel Tudor, instilled a sense of it from an early age. It seems Tosh took what his dad offered, ran with it, then built on it. All that style was never more evident than it was on a trip to Western Australia, where he tackled some serious waves with aplomb.
There aren’t a lot of surfers who make riding waves of consequence look easy – simple even – as if they’re walking down a city street. Tosh is definitely one of them. His surfing stands out in its subtlety. A firing Western Australia, much like the North Shore, was a perfect place to put his approach on display.
