To score perfect, empty waves anywhere is a challenge these days, but to score perfect, empty surf in Northern Italy seems totally impossible. Yet Roberto D’Amico does just that in Uncrowded. During the swell of the year, D’Amico heads north in search of perfect waves, and he scores a couple of crowded sessions with great conditions. However, he keeps looking, and finds a hidden jewel with no one out. Locals later told him it was the best day in over two years. Thanks for giving us the encouragement to keep searching, Roberto!
