Brian Grubb is not only a professional wakeskater, but a pioneer in the sport as well. So it shouldn’t be to any surprise that one of his missions is to figure out a way to take wakeskating out of its typical summer environment and make it “year-round” so to speak. First step? Test it in extreme conditions. For example, the polar opposite of summer: winter, and winter in Sarajevo, Bosnia no less.
Grubb traveled to Olympic mountain Bjelasnica where he met locals and was eventually led to Studeni Potok (Icy Creek), otherwise referred to as Dragon’s Tail.

The next step? Shiver, shove-it, and send it.
