The Harlem Globetrotters and surfers around the globe have one major thing in common: Style. To put on a good show as one or the other you must possess that single quality. But apparently when you put them both together we’re not exactly getting Dos XX dude levels of saltwater swag. Yes, Bull Bullard and Flight Time Lang may be able to dribble on a surf board, while riding a wave, also while wearing some of the most rad trunks ever. But as is the unwritten rule of all things Dora, does it really count if you can’t get rid of that stink-butt?
According to Bullard, even with all the crazy stunts he’s pulled in a career on the court, surfing is “the number one hardest thing” he’s done. This coming from a guy who is certainly no one trick pony. If you don’t recognize him for his hoops proficiency maybe you’ll recognize him as the dude who smoked an American Ninja Warrior course a while back. But baby waves in Hawaii? Not so much.
