Last we heard from Dion Agius, he was in the hospital. However, a recent post from North Shore scion Mason Ho hearkens back to a simpler, less injured, time.
Dion’s recent misadventure started off with an invitation to a Swiss ski resort to participate in an art show (in addition to ripping, Dion makes some pretty awesome sculptures, in case you were unaware). However, Agius tempted fate by trying his hand on the slopes and was severely punished for it – to the tune of a $30,000 hospital bill.
“Got a bit too excited to be finally snowboarding again after four years and got smoked catching a rail first day in,” he detailed in an Instagram post. “Somehow managed to land on the iciest patch on the mountain straight on my chest and ended up collapsing my lung and having to get rushed to the ER for an operation and ended up in the hospital for four days, hooked up to a machine to suck the air out of my chest.”
As for the new edit, released to Ho’s YouTube channel, it features Dion and Mason having some carefree fun at Rocky Point. What’s more, the pair are joined by Coco Ho, Stephanie Gilmore and Harry Bryant.
