Indonesia’s seen a historic run of swell in recent weeks, and Uluwatu has been firing. Literally. Last week, we saw two angles of Eloy Lorenzo towing into some of the biggest (and quite possibly longest) waves surfed at Uluwatu in decades. During the same session, Lorenzo’s tow partner, Russian surfer Andrei Ovchinnikov (aka “Dolphin”), pulled into a bomb of equal length.
Who knew Russia was pumping out the next gen of big wave chargers?
