The Inertia

When you’re going hard, these things happen. Team New Zealand recently had an epic splat in Bermuda while racing in a semi-final match against Great Britian when the crew lost control of its boat and went bow down in some seriously windy conditions (NZ skipper Peter Burling called the wind conditions “the upper limits”). Officials called the wreck an “unforced error.” “Everbody was safe, with no major injuries,” Burling said after. “We feel like we’ll be able to repair the damage and get back into action.”
