Last year, NASA discovered that Mars had flowing salt water. It was a huge deal. While it was already known that Mars had frozen water, finding it in liquid form meant a lot of things. Water, of course, might mean life. And flowing saltwater might mean waves. That got Foster Huntington thinking.
Huntington is a man who has spent a lot of time looking for waves. Some credit him as the founder of the #vanlife movement. Waves on Mars??, directed by Huntington, goes a little farther than earth (in spirit)… it follows Trevor Gordon, Spencer Gordon and Landon Smith, on a trip to the Red Planet in search of waves (or on a month long sailing trip). Wherever they are, it’s a story about the journey they took to get there–whether you’re going on a sailing trip to Mars or on road trip just a few days south, it’s those tiny, almost unnoticeable moments that make the whole thing so wonderful.
