If you’ve been in Southern California in early October, you are well aware that the waves were very, very good. Hurricane Rosa whipped up a swell that turned Newport’s finest, weirdest wave into the thing that everyone loves. The Wedge went off on October 1, and Brad Domke, Tyler Stanaland, Chuck Patterson, Tyler Thornsley, Mark Drewelow, Chris Waring, Craig Whetter, and a host of others showed up to make the most out of an already good thing.
