The Inertia

The transition from winter into spring is a unique time in New Jersey. The early April days are rainy, it feels raw, and the temperatures hover around the 50’s. Then there are days when it’s beautiful and you’re reminded that summer is on the way. Now that we’ve moved into May, the weather is breaking, the trees have leaves on them, the flowers are blooming, and those dreary days seem to be a thing of the past.

This spring, the surf has been pumping with no shortage of swell over the last month. The ocean temperature is warming up and we finally started to shed some gear. Here are some highlights from April through the first week of May.
