This new film is an ode to life, nature, freedom, and women. My filmmaking partner, Marin Troude, and I really wanted to create something original that could allow an audience to identify with one strong, mysterious, and enigmatic character. This is why BLUE RISE is the story of an anonymous heroine.
Between shadows and lights, this is a timeless and fairylike moment shot at the last glimmer, where woman and ocean become one.
We are two young independent French film directors from Paris. In each of our films, we always strive to focus on gesture, elegance, and how sport is freedom more than just action, allowing the spectator to escape with us and experience new feelings.
