Surfing close to piers can be two things: really fun when everything goes right… and really shitty when it goes wrong. For the guy above, it was definitely not the first option. One can assume that his intent was to shoot the pier. What happened, though, was that the pier shot him.
Thankfully, he’s alright and nothing too serious happened–assuming that head pat at the end means what it’s supposed to mean, and he’s not just trying to cram his brains back in his skull.
