In fall of 2016, my friends and I went to Indonesia for two months to film a project called Skimdonesia. With Indo as the unofficial surf trip capital of the world, every session was packed full watching other surfers, friends, and locals ripping the place to shreds.
At the end of the trip, I walked away with our original project’s footage overflowing plus a heap of extra sick footage of these guys putting on a show. All that film has been sitting on my hard drive waiting for the right time. With the recent Keramas CT event taking place and as I was working on an upcoming profile with Marlon Gerber, I thought this was a perfect time to finally put it all together. My friend and amazing DJ/Producer Dom Prietto contributed an epic mix for the first 10 minutes of CUTS with the rest of the songs here coming from his SoundCloud feed (Thanks, Dom).
My goal with CUTS is to create a fun-to-watch, “inspire-you-to-go-surf,” old school series with a modern twist.
