The world’s best crashed Supertubes, among other spots, during a recent down day. There has been no shortage of ripping all around the local spots, and there have been multiple sessions that might’ve been good enough to run a contest in.
The Rip Curl Pro in Peniche is very important for local business and Portugal tourism, but it’s also important for the Portuguese photographers who are trying to evolve and accumulate a better portfolio.
Peniche turns into the surf mecca it’s known for during this season. You can find the best surfers in the world with so many beachbreaks to choose from. They know where to hide, but being a native of Portugal, I can find them.
