Therefore, when two of the Shimano XT crew (Thomas Vanderham and Andrew Shandro) set off for Chile to meet with locals Ignacio and Nicholas, it should be of no surprise that there was an immediate bond between the mountain bikers, from embracing a new adventure in foreign lands to pride in showing the visitors around, with a similar sense of both inward and outward appreciation for the shared experience across all.
