The Inertia

Alex Honnold is an interesting person. He does things that no one else does. And as a person who has done things that no one else (literally NO ONE on earth) has done, it’s natural for people to want to ask him questions. Not the hard-hitting journalistic questions, either. Just plain old everyday questions.

Since we live in the age of the internet, it’s also natural for those people to simply type out their question, hit return, and fire it out there into one of the many forums out there. But, also since we live in the age of the internet, that makes it possible for anyone and everyone to answer those questions, and they’re frequently wrong. That’s why GQ has Actually Me, a series where the person at the focus of the questions sits down in front of a computer (and a camera) and answers hard-hitting questions like “How do you get down?” (It depends), “how would Alex Honnold perform on American Ninja Warrior?” (Poorly), and “how big are Alex Honnold’s hands” (pretty big).
