The Inertia

Remember when you were a kid and you built little jumps in your front yard or at the bottom of the hill down the road? In the summers, you probably hit them on a BMX. When it snowed in the winters, you probably hit them on a toboggan. Then, when you got a little older, maybe you hit them on a snowboard or a pair of skis. Those jumps always felt huge. You felt as though you were the bravest kid on the block. Maybe you felt like Treehouse Mike felt when he rode a plastic sled off The Chief, above, a renowned granite wall in Squamish, British Columbia that’s around 700 meters high?
