If you’ve never had a near death experience you probably imagine one would be life altering. And if you have had one, well, we’re not crazy to think you came out a different person. Matilda Rapaport doesn’t call getting caught in an avalanche in Alaska a near death experience, but those are just semantics. A year ago these mountains gave Matilda a close call that would scare most back onto groomers for life. But here she is charging the same spines that still scare her today.
