The Inertia

If you live the mountain life, it’s a great time to be alive. Not only for the equipment advances that make it easier, and safer, to move around in the alpine, but for the free films the proliferate the Internet and allow us to stoke our dreams. Hence Mont Blanc: The Land of Toys, a beautiful 12-minute film that profiles the highest peak in the Alps between France and Italy. Climbing, steep skiing and snowboarding, any alpine adventure you can imagine is a simple ride up the Aiguille du Midi cable car out of Chamonix. “Chamonix is a really cool place,” says Andres Fransson, “because you can do a wonderful adventure everyday and come back and have a normal life.”
