Mountain biking is definitely my least savvy sport in the way one making it down the hill. I’m all for it, and love every moment I’m letting gravity pull me over dirt and rocks and whatever else threatens to break skin (specifically my skin), but I simply haven’t had enough experience to consider myself anywhere NEAR savvy. That in mind, it is probably one of the most exciting sports to watch, especially when those doing it are sooo much better than I would otherwise be.

Needless to say, World Cup downhill racers Stevie Smith and Brook Macdonald are among those that are sooo much better than I am. Put them in British Columbia’s dusty interior with wide-open tracks for a little grip-be-damned drifting and we’re a go.

While I have you hear, check out Mind the Gap’s journey through Dubois, Wyoming…
…landing the biggest front flip…
…and even biking on a glacier.
