Discovering new never-before-ridden waves these days is difficult. Technology like GPS and advanced surf forecasting, exponential growth in the global surfing population, and the passage of time have all contributed to discoveries becoming public knowledge, and secret spots being fewer and further between.
There are still pockets, though, of time and space where uncrowded waves can be had. Sketchy waves tend to deter visitors. Which is exactly what Mikala Jones, Marlon Gerber, Tai Graham, and Awan Hadi were hoping for when they launched a strike mission to an unnamed spot in the Indian Ocean. And from the looks of it, they scored.
