Fishing can get pretty boring sometimes. That’s kind of the beauty of it, really; all that time for reflection (read: beer) punctuated by moments of excitement when the fish are biting. This family’s fishing trip, however, was a little less boring and a little more exciting than most.
While on a boat in Cape Cod Bay, three miles west of Great Island in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, the Nelson family was happy to see that they had a fish on their line. The son, Jack, looked on as they pulled it in. Then something very unexpected happened: a great white rocketed out of the water just feet from the boat, taking their fish and half the line with it.
