The Inertia

James Sinclair is one hell of a good dude, residing in the sleepy town of Aireys Inlet in the west of Victoria. He’s the kind of guy you want to shoot with every day, when he’s not vibing on two-foot ramps that look so bad, he’s in six-foot tubes out at Johanna. He’s easily one of the more underrated surfers out there, and every session I have with him, we never fail to nail something we are both psyched on.

Recently he went on a little expedition, mainly to get married to his lovely wife Vanessa in Indonesia, but on their honeymoon he found himself in some solid Mexican cylinders: “I got married to my beautiful bride on a cliff at Uluwatu this year. I surfed for three hours before the ceremony, we then went on for a month-long honeymoon to Mexico afterwards. Each day I would surf all morning with my Go-Pro and then have hotcakes and mango smoothies with Vanessa. I am back in Victoria now dreaming about my recent Mexicoma.”

All footage was cut and edited by James himself.
