The Inertia

A few months ago, a storm of epic proportions made landfall on Mexico’s coastline. It flooded towns, wreaked havoc, and brought in some truly massive waves. Mark Healey was one of the people out there for the peak of the swell.

“The waves were so big they would feather like they were going to break for about two hundred yards,” he said. “So from where I had to sit to actually catch a wave, it would look like I was going to get caught inside. I knew all that and had already made my mind up I was going to get one.” You can read the rest of that story here.
