The news is in: Obama is in perfect health. Although Syria may have given him a few gray hairs and the Republicans are responsible for any additional wrinkles, when it comes down to it, Obama is the picture of health. The latest medical report released from the White House physician cites that Obama’s health has actually improved since his last check up.
The 54-year-old leader of the free world actually dropped five pounds since his last check up, has a slower resting heart rate, lower blood pressure, and a reduced cholesterol level. Plus, the Prez has still got 20/20 vision. Whether you like him or not, you have to admit that it’s insane that Obama has maintained this level of health with the most stressful job in the world.
The report cites that, “The President continues to focus on healthy lifestyle choices. He eats a healthy diet, remains tobacco free, and only drinks alcohol occasionally and in moderation. He continues to exercise daily with a focus on aerobic fitness and resistance weight training.”
Obama’s only vice? He occasionally uses Nicotine Gum. Even by Oval Office standards, that is incredibly tame.
So how does Obama do it? The report states,” The President’s overall health remains excellent and is improved from his last formal assessment. His adherence to a healthy diet and a consistent exercise program has resulted in an improved lean body mass and lower cholesterol level.”
My theory is that “consistent exercise program” means that Obama’s been hitting the beach for quick bodysurfing sessions in between cabinet meetings. For all we know, the Prez jumps in the water every chance he gets. I mean, can you think of a better way to unwind from the stress of running a nation? I mean, if Putin gets to ride horses shirtless to blow off steam, it’s only fair Obama be allowed to get barreled. Not to mention, Obama is definitely proud of his beach bod. Although this theory has absolutely no evidence nor credibility, I stand by it just because it makes me happy.
Regardless of how he does it, it’s nice to see that health and fitness are a priority in the White House.
