Way back in 2016, Rip Curl sent Mick Fanning and Mason Ho to a frozen end of the earth. They surfed with icebergs and Rip Curl was very happy to show them doing it while wearing Rip Curl wetsuits because, as you are well aware, icebergs are generally found in cold water.
Mick and Mason, so very different from each other, got along like a couple of giggling besties. Since then, they’ve been on more than a few trips together, finding funny waves and doing funny things. And as is so often the case when one travels extensively in search of waves, they happened to find some high-quality surf. “It’s very good right now,” Mason says, nearly choking on his excitement at the halfway mark in the video above. “That’s the calmest way I can answer that.”
