Kelly Slater spends quite a bit of time on the North Shore. It’s been a second home for him that borders on a first home for quite some time now, and he’s certainly made himself comfortable there. He knows the waves, has done well competitively at most of them, and at the ripe old age of 51, is still charging his way into below sea-level slabby tubes when they’re on offer.
