While everyone was concentrating on Pipeline and Sunset, and everywhere else, Ben Gravy has been scoring in Panama. The soft-top savant has taken his skills to Central America, and it’s more than paid off. Mr. Gravy has found himself at a beautiful, barreling left (which shall remain unnamed), as well as a rifling beachbreak (Bluff).
The man, who’s currently on a crazy mission to surf every country in the world, was fired up. “Being in Panama has been an eye-opening experience,” he said. “I never thought much of surf in the Caribbean, but this place has proven how big and powerful it can be. This beachbreak is by far the heaviest one I’ve ever surfed. After traveling to Hossegor in France, Supetubos in Portugal and surfing New Jersey my whole life, Bluff is truly another level of power.”
