The inside waves at the Wedge are not only big, thick and chaotic but they’re also breaking in waist-deep water. In short, they’re extremely gnarly. People ask me, how shallow is the inside section? It’s shallow, and these waves are huge. So, not only is it challenging because the waves are wonky and large, but the inside is completely violent. But, surfers and bodyboarders are always into challenging that section just to get the vision of a lifetime in the tube.
