As you may have heard, The Eddie went off. However, if the live stream didn’t satisfy your thirst for video of horrifyingly large Waimea Bay, we have you covered.
Additional footage of the world’s most intense lineup comes courtesy of the YouTube channel, Surfers of Hawai’i, who were out on Friday, December 20 to capture some pretty stunning drone footage. Waimea attracts the best surfers any time its firing, but with the Eddie officially called green and a massive swell already producing 18 to 22-foot faces, this was on a whole other level. In this video alone are appearances from John John Florence, Kauli Vaast, Luke Shepardson and Eala Stewart.
