Longboarding has a certain aesthetic to it that makes it fun to watch, even if the waves aren’t huge. In fact, it makes small waves more aesthetically pleasing. Especially when you slow the footage down.
That’s what the video above is: stylish longboarding slowed down and shot from above. I captured the footage at the Hotdogger contest held at the Hermosa Beach Pier. There’s just something about the way these surfers play with the waves that makes it tough to take your eyes off of. Enjoy the show these guys put on.
