Well, we’re officially done with the first week of 2026. Time is crazy, right? Like the Eagles said, it just keeps on “slippin’, slippin’, slippin’ into the future.” And as usual, Mason Ho made the most of the year gone by. He gets a lot of good waves every year, and he films just about every one of them, so you can always assume that his highlight reel is a good one. And you assume correctly.
Mason doesn’t like to stick around in one place for too long. Oh, he loves his home in Hawaii and the waves on the North Shore are what he lives for, but variety is the spice of life and Mason likes his waves spicy. Hawaii, Australia, Mexico, California, Puerto Rico, Texas, Indonesia are all included in this 40-ish minute video.
That might seem long for a YouTube video in this day and age, but you try whittling down a year’s worth of amazing rides into something shorter than that. Kill your darlings, as they say in the writing world, but you have to know when you’ve killed enough. Forty-ish minutes of Mason Ho doing Mason Ho things might not be quite enough.
