If you’re a surfer, the Gold Coast is two things: a good place to live and a frustrating one. Good because the waves are ridiculously good. Frustrating because you are not the only one who knows that. With good waves (usually) comes big crowds, and the Goldy is nothing if not good and crowded. Which means two more things: great rides and even greater wipeout reels.
The one you see here comes from Surf on Mars, a YouTube channel that does not, in fact, feature any surfing on Mars. Instead, it features (usually) surfing on the Gold Coast.
“These are the best wipeouts from Autumn of 2026,” Surf on Mars wrote. “The usual carnage and chaos in the waves! Some things never change.”
