There aren’t too many things better than sharing the lineup with wildlife. Maybe not a giant great white, but when a whale, turtles, seals, or dolphins show up, it always makes even the worst sessions great. And that’s a little easier to find if you’re on a foil out in the deep.
Chris Rogers, a travel and action sports filmmaker, recently spotted a giant pod of dolphins he estimated to be 300-plus strong. The waters off Cape Town, South Africa are a little more alive than some other places, and Rogers decided it might be fun to take his E-foil out to say hello. Little did he know that the dolphins wanted to say hello back, and they were there to have a good time.
