Raimana Van Bastolaer can get anyone barreled. Or close to it, at least. We’ve seen it before with people like Prince Harry, Ivanka Trump, and Cindy Crawford, and recently he tucked infamous socialite Paris Hilton into a Surf Ranch tube.
Raimana, as you no doubt know, is surfing’s happiest man. After years as the guy at the top of the pecking order at Teahupo’o, he became a barrel wrangler at the Surf Ranch. Now, he spends many of his days as a guide of sorts, paddling into Surf Ranch waves with beginners looking to get something that beginners, until the wave pool explosion, couldn’t get.
Although Paris didn’t get the full tube treatment here, she does come annoyingly close to getting what most surfers spend their lives trying to get. Just a little more proof that the rich get richer, even if that doesn’t mean their bank accounts get bigger.
