The Inertia

There are a handful of surfers who’s surfing looks the way surfing feels. Does that make sense? Surfers who, by some magic connection between wave, board, mind, and body, can encapsulate the feeling of riding a wave to the viewer. Asher Pacey is one of those surfers.

In Sun Moon Light Sun, a new film from Album Surf,  Asher chases a hurricane swell to his beloved Baja California. Baja, as you know — hopefully from experience — is a bucket-list road trip for any surfer. It’s changed a lot over the years, but there’s still plenty left to find and explore. In Sun Moon Light Sun, Asher spends three days surfing on three Album surfboards in Baja: the Sunstone, the Moonstone, and the Light Bender.

All three suit Asher’s surfing perfectly, and Baja was the perfect canvas for him to practice his art.
