Victoria Larnach was born and raised in the East Bay, California and has lived in San Diego for the past 6 years. An outdoors enthusiast who enjoys surfing and rock climbing, she has been fortunate to be able to put these into practice wherever she goes. Larnach has always been a bit of a fish when it comes to anything to do with the water, so naturally, her art reflects the experience. The effect she wants to capture in each of her pieces is focused on water being a fundamental source of life as well as its healing and spiritual capabilities. “Life sustaining, giving, and eventually deterioration is the beauty of this element, and should always be understood and respected as a cycle of life,” says Larnach. “It is a blessing to create something tangible from the subconscious intangible and to feel the movement and spirit within the painting.” Currently residing in Australia, she is a bit of a travel guru at the moment and just as restless and inspired as ever…
