East Coast. To see this place going off is quite the reward.

$It\'s hard for me to not want a board when I\'m in the water, but here is a shot the week before Sandy came ashore. Many of the homes to the left got washed away at this spot.$

It's hard for me to not want a board when I'm in the water, but here is a shot the week before Sandy came ashore. Many of the homes to the left got washed away at this spot.

This photo for me, although simple, stands for a lot. This was taken right after Sandy pulled away.

An ocean pool, left like a sheet of glass from high-tide, casting a reflection of the sky. I just had to wait for that right one to grind along the sand bar to make it work.

Home. Walking up to the beach to see the spot doing its thing will never get old.

The full sequence of this one is pretty epic. I was left speechless after this one.

One of the most epic days I have ever been a part of at home. August 13, 2014. 80 degree F and sunny. 75 degree water, 6-8 feet and offshore all day long.

Europe. Something about the way the light caught the spray coming off the back really caught my eye on this. It has been a personal favorite for a while.

The end of one of the best days I have personally ever seen at Pipeline. December 21, 2013. I was at the beach all day and I did not leave until dark. Cracking Pipe; sun up to sun down.

A few empty waves coming through during the final day of the 2013 Billabong Pipe Masters. What an epic day to see and capture a moment in surfing history. Truly unforgettable!

Mexico, 2006. Mike Murphy, the lone bodyboarder eyeing the face of Zicatela.

New Zealand, 2007. For sure the hardest wind I have ever shot in.

The following series of images reminds me of the power of capturing a moment and being able to relive it forever. Each image has its own unique story, and, for me, the people who were around when I captured the image, are forever engraved in those images. The endless search for perfect waves, good times and just living and enjoying life in the moment is what drives me and my passion for photography.
