Although Oahu is most revered for the celebrated North Shore, there is surf and photo opportunities on every corner of the island. The morning sunrises, afternoon sunsets, and the incredible talent that occupies this beautiful place are what gives photos that are taken here that special allure and appeal. But it doesn’t come all that easy. Swimming through strong currents and dodging surfboards is a workout, to say the least. My photos are intended to illustrate the love and special connection locals have with the ocean. In addition to shooting surfing, skateboarding is my other favorite subject to capture.
