Landon Hayashi, 14, was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii. His interest in photography began at the ripe young age of 11. He started out shooting shorebreak and slowly ventured out into larger surf to capture the amazing talent of surfers. He is driven by adrenaline and wishes to capture the different moods each unique photo has. The most rewarding part for Landon is providing a view for surfers and non-surfers alike to see what it looks like from a surfer’s perspective. He is inspired by many talented and experienced local photographers and he is grateful to them for taking him under their wing and provided encouragement and advice about his passion.
