There is something majestic about the frozen expanse of the northern- and southern-most lands near the poles. From Iceland to Antarctica, these devastatingly gorgeous colder reaches of magnificent Earth shine a light on the kind of natural beauty that make you shiver in more ways than one.
This particular edit is no different. No different.

Kalle Ljung, a filmmaker based out of Stockholm, Sweden, “started from Ushuaia in Argentina and went to Port Williams in Chile, rounded Cape Horn and crossed the Drake Passage towards the Melchior Islands in Antarctica.”
Once they arrive, the set anchor, prepped their DJI Phantom 2 with GoPro HERO3+ Black, and set out to explore the stretches of coastline for 16 days before returning to Ushuaia.

From that hovering vantage point, they were able to share the stunning sights of Antarctica in ways we were not privy to before.

A true bird’s eye view.

Where the wildlife comes front and center.

Oh, what a wonderful world.
