Darcy Roland retired from over 20 years of serving in the United States Coast Guard and Army. Her love of surfing began when she was stationed in California. She's also an avid runner, completing several marathons and half marathons. She earned a Masters in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University and is an adjunct professor for the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy as well as a TEDx speaker.
