Trent Slatter is one of the most talented and unique photographers around today. For a guy who started snapping shots simply as a hobby and seems to be content with keeping it that way, Trent Slatter lives at the apex of breathtaking slab imagery.
Slatter’s primary focus is capturing some of Australia’s heaviest waves, mainly The Right and Cyclops. And we’d say it’s a fair bet that spending a lot of time photographing those two waves has a heavy influence on his style. The colors. The texture of the water. The intense focus on unique, tiny details of waves that defy what a wave is even supposed to look like in the first place.
We asked Trent to share some of the images that are his favorite at the moment and he passed along this collection of 15 photos. They are good.
