The Inertia

I think sometimes juicing gets a bad rap. The thing is, as with any activity that gets exceedingly popular, there are always people who take it to the extreme. To be honest, I’m not so sure about the weeklong juice cleanse thing. I think you’ve got to weigh the pros and cons for you as an individual to determine if it’s really beneficial.

However, I am convinced that juicing is a great way to consume a large quantity of vitamins and minerals very quickly and relatively painlessly. If you’re looking to detox this spring, I’d recommend cleaning up your diet by scrapping excess processed foods and sugars as well as incorporating this juice into your weekly menu and if you’re looking for a list of the best masticating juicers – look no further. Fruits and veggies are packed with good foods that will make your body feel great, and it will give you a boost of energy throughout your day as well.

Ingredients

5 leaves of kale
2 handfuls of baby spinach
1 green apple, sliced up
4 stalks of celery
1 bunch mint leaves
1 medium cucumber
1 handful of parsley
1 lime
1 bunch of wheatgrass
1 knob of ginger

Directions

-Throw everything in a juicer.

-Serve over ice.
